Tazewell County has a little of everything. There is the coal country around Richlands and Pocahontas, the town of Tazewell as county seat, Bluefield on the West Virginia line, Cedar Bluff along the Clinch, and the farmland bowl of Burkes Garden up on the mountain. Folks here are practical, and they want a building that holds up.
We are a family-run metal building and concrete company based in Southwest Virginia, and Tazewell County is part of our home region.

Mountain Lots Take Good Prep
A lot of building sites here are cut into a hillside or sit close to a creek. We start with a site review and handle the site prep, footers, and a 4-inch slab before the building ever shows up. Footers are poured below the local frost depth. Then we deliver, set, anchor, and check the building. Learn more about our concrete work.
Picking the Right Building
Our buildings come in vertical, boxed-eave, and standard roof styles. Vertical roofs are about 80% of what we sell because they shed snow and rain best. If you want to play with sizes and doors, try the quote builder or check the gallery for ideas.
Rent-to-Own in Tazewell County
Not ready to pay for the whole building up front? Our rent-to-own program starts with 15% down, and the monthly payments run about 25% lower than typical rent-to-own programs. You also get 90 days same as cash, and that clock starts the day the building is physically delivered. It is a good way to get a garage or shop up now and pay it down over time. Open carports are not eligible for rent-to-own.
Permits in Tazewell County
Every county handles permits a little differently, and setbacks, frost depth, and wind and snow requirements are set locally. Before we pour anything, check with the Tazewell County building office about what your building needs. We can supply engineered drawings for the permit packet, and we will work around whatever the inspector asks for.

Common Questions
Do you build in Richlands and Bluefield, VA?
Yes. We serve all of Tazewell County, including Richlands, Bluefield, Cedar Bluff, Tazewell, Pocahontas, and the Burkes Garden area.
My lot is on a hillside. Can you still build?
Many times, yes. Hillside lots are common in Tazewell County. We do a site review and handle the site prep, footers, and slab. We will tell you honestly what the site needs.
How should I check out a metal building company?
Look at their Facebook business page and Google reviews, make sure they have been in business more than a couple of years, and watch for fake reviews, like odd foreign names or a lot of reviews posted close together. That goes for us too.
Ready to price your building?
Call or text 276-235-1191, or send us the size, location and what it is for. We will come back with a real number.
