Stoots Storage Solutions is a family-run business in southwest Virginia handling site prep, concrete foundations and turnkey steel building installs.
Our Story
Why We Do It This Way
We have been in the metal building business since the early days of the industry. In that time we have watched a lot of companies take deposits and disappear, deliver months late, or hand customers off to crews they have never met.
So we do it differently. We handle the foundation and the install ourselves, and we only work with a few manufacturers we trust. We have walked away from 53 manufacturers, and turned down a lot of money, rather than put our name on a building we would not want on our own land.
A lot of our customers find us through Facebook groups, where we have spent years answering questions and helping people avoid bad deals, whether they buy from us or not.

How to Vet Any Metal Building Company (Even Us)
Before you hand anyone a deposit, do these four checks. They take about ten minutes and they will save some people thousands of dollars.
- Check their Facebook business page. If reviews are not showing, move on, no matter what they tell you about why.
- Confirm how long they have been in business. You want more than a couple of years. This industry churns.
- Watch for fake reviews. A pile of reviews posted close together, or from names that do not fit the area, is a red flag.
- Do the same check on Google. The story should match on both. If it does not, believe the worse one.
