Georgia is a long way from our shop in Southwest Virginia, so we are upfront about it: we travel for the right job. Call or text with your county and a rough size, and we will tell you if it is a fit.
North Georgia to the coast
North Georgia has mountains, ice storms, and steep lots. The Piedmont around the cities has red clay and growing subdivisions with more rules. South Georgia is flat farm country with heat and long humid summers. The coast deals with hurricane exposure and marshy ground.
Heat and humidity are the common thread. A bare metal roof over a slab can sweat, so we talk about condensation control early. In the mountains, snow and ice still matter, and a vertical roof is the best at shedding it.
Common Georgia projects
- Equipment barns for peanut, cotton, and row crop farms
- Hunting camp storage and side-by-side garages
- Shops for mechanics and small contractors
- Boat covers near the lakes and coast
- Barndominium shells on rural land
Planning the concrete
When the job makes sense for turnkey, we handle site review, prep, footers, a 4-inch slab, and the building install. Payments for concrete are tied to the pours, so you pay as the work gets done. See how our concrete work goes.
Your county sets the rules
Georgia counties vary widely. Some rural counties have light requirements for farm buildings. Metro counties and cities often want permits, setbacks, and inspections. Coastal counties may have flood and wind rules on top of that. Always call your county first.
How concrete payments work
Concrete is quoted separately from the building. For our concrete work, 10% of the job subtotal is due at signing and is non-refundable. Then 35% of the remaining balance is due when the footers are poured, and 65% when the 4-inch slab is poured. You pay as the work gets done, and you always know where the job stands.
If your property is in North Georgia, mention it when you call. The mountains there have more in common with our Southwest Virginia ground than the flat farm country down south, and we will plan the site and roof with that in mind.

Common Questions
Do you have crews in Georgia?
No. We are a family business based in Southwest Virginia, and we travel for the right job. Call or text with your county to see if it fits.
How do I keep my metal building from sweating in Georgia?
Ask about condensation control when you order, and plan for a vapor barrier under the slab. Ventilation helps too. We will talk through options for how you plan to use it.
What roof should I pick for Georgia?
Vertical roofs shed rain best and are our most popular. Boxed-eave is a mid-price option, and regular curved is the lowest cost.
