Local Rules
Every County Is Different
Frost depth, wind and snow loads, setbacks and permit rules change from one county line to the next. A building certified for a coastal North Carolina wind load is not the same building you need in the Virginia mountains, and a footer poured for Georgia will not hold up through a West Virginia winter.
- We check your county’s requirements before we quote, not after.
- Buildings are certified to match your local wind and snow load.
- Footers go in at your local frost depth.
- We help you through permits and engineered drawings where they are required.
Travel Jobs
Yes, We Travel
Most of our work is within a few hours of home in southwest Virginia, but we regularly load up and travel for larger jobs and repeat customers across the states above. If you are farther out, ask. The worst we will say is that it does not make sense for your project.
